Esthetic Composite Veneers

In cases where there is minor abrasion, fracture, discoloration and diastema between the teeth, if there is no need for high-strength porcelain laminate veneers or crowns in the corresponding area, good aesthetic treatments can be performed with composite fillings. Thanks to current nanohybrid composite materials, aesthetic fillings can imitate enamel and dentin tissues very well, and with their high polishability, they can maintain both their brightness and color for a long time.

In the majority of esthetic filling cases, there is no abrasion on the teeth and thus a much more conservative approach is followed compared to porcelain restorations. However, esthetic fillings are very delicate and time-consuming applications since they are performed in the mouth, not in a laboratory environment, unlike porcelain laminate veneers or crowns. If they are applied with the correct isolation techniques, modeling liquid and a brush, they can be applied safely in many cases.
