Pink Esthetic

In esthetic treatments performed with changes in the form, size and color of the teeth in the frontal esthetic applications, one of the most important criteria is the harmony of the teeth and gums. Especially in individuals with high smile lines, whose gums and soft tissues are excessively visible when they smile, the asymmetrical and irregularity of these tissues surrounding the teeth has a very negative effect on the esthetic perception. This effect created by the gums is expressed as pink aesthetics.

Pink aesthetics can be improved with treatments such as gingivectomy or gingivoplasty, which regulate gum levels and positions before esthetic interventions such as smile design, porcelain laminate, etc. or in some cases without any intervention on the teeth. In this way, the lengths of the teeth are equalized, various asymmetries are eliminated, and excessively visible gum tissue can be made less visible.
